The lineup of the business products from HP now adds the HP ProBook 440 G10, a product for professionals that tries to tackle all kinds of issues one faces while working. Under the hood, it is driven by Intel’s Raptor Lake series of chips.
The design is minimal so one can easily fit it in any environment without being flashy. And the pike silver aluminum adds the flare to complement the whole package.
The new ProBook 440 G10 is volunteered by the Intel Core i7 1355u 13th Generation Raptor Lake Processor. Being a part of the U series, it maximizes the battery capability by prioritizing efficiency over performance.
This is why it comes with a set of 2 performance cores and weight efficiency cores alongside 12 threads and also 12 MB of Intel Smart level 3 Cache. This allows the notebook to efficiently handle multicore and multithreaded processes.
The setup as standard is configured at a base clock frequency of 1.7 GHz, which with the help of Intel’s turbo boost technology can be overclocked to a max clock of 5 GHz. The unit draws a minimum of 15 watts and a maximum of 55 watts.
The graphical processing is handled by Intel’s Iris Xe Graphics which are enabled as UHD graphics. It comes with a dynamic graphical processing of 1.3 GHz, which makes the device handle light-density graphical processing.
The memory setup is powered by a DDR4, which is clocked to provide a transfer rate of 3200 MHz, over a single RAM stick with a capacity of 8GB. The Notebook can be cooked with dual channel memory which means the initially provided can be enhanced by relaxing it with a higher one.
The storage drive fitted is a PCIe Gen NVME M.2 Solid State Drive packing a capacity of 512 GB. This drive allows the operating system and its respective applications to boot quickly, all thanks to the fast read and write speeds of the M.2 platform. The storage can also be increased by upgrading it in the future.
The component which one spends the most time concentrating on is the screen and in our case, it is an IPS panel with 35.6 cm/14-inch in diagonal capable of displaying at a resolution of Full HD at 1920 x 1080. Having narrow bezels so that it can make it achieve maximum screen real estate, while also being surfaced with anti-glare coating to trim reflections. The screen is capable of achieving a maximum brightness of 250 nits while offering a 45% coverage of the NTSC, explaining its non-color accurate factor.
The battery fitted inside is an HP Long-Life 3-cell Lithium-Ion Polymer Unit boasting a capacity of 51 Wh, which is recharged using the Smart 45 W External AC adapter.
The trackpad offered is a fully clickable Click pad with multi-touch gesture support and is offered with the taps enabled as default. The full-size HP Premium Keyboard is spill-resistant and comes with LED Backlit which assists in darker surroundings.
The wireless channels are provided by the Realtek Wi-Fi 6E RTL8852CE (2×2) and Bluetooth® 5.3 wireless card.
The set of Dual stereo speakers, and dual array microphones, completes the whole notebook experience. While logins are made secure with the Fingerprint sensor.
The ports located are the 2 USB Type-As with a 5 Gbps signalling rate which supports 1 charging, 1 power, 1 AC power; 1 HDMI 2.1, 1 stereo headphone/microphone combo jack, 1 RJ-45 Ethernet adapter, 2 USB Type-Cs with a 10 Gbps signalling rate supporting USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 2.1.
